A history of restoration efforts for Vancouver Lake

Clark County & Clark Public Utilities. 1997. Lakeshore & Salmon Creek watershed areas business plan: preliminary draft. Vancouver, WA: Clark County.

EXEC. SUMMARY: Legacy--the Salmon Creek Watershed Management Plan--was developed in June 1993 with extensive involvement of public agencies and the community. It provides a conceptual framework under which specific plans and programs for the watershed were prepared and continue to be developed and adopted as policy. Many of the projects and programs Legacy recommends to protect the watershed have been carried out. Some of these actions were taken before Legacy was published, others were taken since its publication, and still other projects and programs have yet to be designed and implemented. The Lakeshore and Salmon Creek Watershed Areas Business Plan aims to implement Legacy.
