Calkins,
Brian M. 1996. Evaluation of Future Habitat Values and Mitigation
Crediting within the BPA Vancouver Lowlands Project Area. Portland, OR:
Bonneville Power Administration.
Introduction: This report is a follow up analysis of potential future habitat values within the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), Vancouver Lowlands project area. Baseline habitat values had previously been established in a separate report (Calkins et al. 1995).
The objectives of this report is to provide projected habitat values based upon proposed management strategies by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) and BPA. Projected mitigation credit is represented by either the total predicted habitat value in the case of BPA acquired land or the change in value in the case of lands that are already protected through the fee title (WDFW or other agency ownership).
